Frisco is located within Collin and Denton counties, and is approximately 25 miles from both Dallas Love Field and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. It has been voted Best Place to Live (Money), Best Places to Relocate (Forbes) and Best Place to Raise an Athlete (Men's Journal).
Frisco is home to several sporting venues, a NCAA Division I conference headquarters, a NHL hockey team headquarters, a Major League Soccer team, a junior ice hockey league headquarters, a Minor League baseball team, and an NBA D-league team. The Dallas Cowboys moved their headquarters to Frisco in 2016. Frisco is also home to The Dr Pepper Ballpark, Dr Pepper Arena and Toyota Stadium.
Frisco boasts terrific shopping and entertainment options, including Stonebriar Centre, a 165-store regional mall, IKEA, iFly, and Frisco Square – known as the new downtown, which features many restaurants, boutique shopping and a movie theater.
Four school districts serve residents in Frisco: Frisco ISD, Lewisville ISD, Little Elm ISD, and Prosper ISD. Frisco is also home to the Preston Ridge Campus of Collin College.
